Playdough is so much fun to play with. Here is a recipe:

making gloop - cornflour and water so it's gloopy

Arts and crafts are great for children to do independently.
All you need is paper, scissors, crayons, tape, glue stick.
- Making cards for the family is a lovely activity to do.
- Cut pictures from a magazine and paste onto paper.
- Gather leaves etc and paste to paper, or make a mobile.
- Weaving with flax or pieces of wool
